Demonstrating Smoking in Science Labs.
The following guidance allows safe demonstration of smoking in science.
With the introduction of the smoking ban in enclosed public spaces it is now illegal to hav a lighted cigarette in a lab. However, if you follow CLEAPS guidance and carry out the usual smoking demonstration inside a fume cupboard, then the experiment is perfectly legal.
