Skills Based KS3/4 Transition Project
The skills based project supports the transition from more traditional science to How Science Works.
These resources have been used successfully in many science departments within North Yorkshire. In preparation for the introduction of the new KS3 curriculum in 2008, some schools are now using the ideas in KS3. The record of achievement card or a modified version of it is being issued to students in Y7 with a view to the student using it throughout the key stage.
