Becta ICT Self-Review Framework

Becta's ICT self-review framework helps you to assess and improve your schools' use of ICT to enhance, extend and support learning and teaching also to benchmark against established best practice. It helps to create an action plan for improvement which complements the work schools currently undertake for Ofsted's Self Evaluation Framework. This can lead to the schievement of the National ICT Mark to celebrate the work of your school in effective use of ICT. http://schools.becta.org.uk/index.php?section=srf

SLICT Strategic Leadership of ICT

The SLICT programme focuses on the strategic role of Headteachers in leading and developing ICT to support development of a strategy which places technology at the centre of learning and teaching. Programme subsidies have been maintained at similar levels to last year (free to heads of schools with less than 100 pupils) The evaluation of the programme by North Yorkshire Headteachers who have attended these courses to date has been overwhelmingly positive.
