Claire Waller - Leading Teacher, Science (Primary)
I teach a whole KS2 class at Bishop Thornton C of E Primary School. The school is situated in a small village close to Harrogate. We have just two whole key stage classes.
One of our main priorities for the last two years has been to redesign our curriculum to allow for a more creative, thematic approach.
The school has been through lots of changes over the last ten years and has gone from ‘special measures’ to recently being awarded ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED so I have benefited from different levels of support and am pleased to be able to support other teachers in the teaching of science.
