A basic software 'toolbox' can be used for most subjects with a few changes according to the subject. In addition the use of websites and a small selection of subject specific programs may support and enhance the subject.

The three main channels - or senses - we use to take in information are Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic (VAK). Most learners use all these senses but some learners have modality preferences
